Angels@Play Guidelines
  • CLOTHING

Caps and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor play. As exposure is minimal this is a matter of personal preference. The wearing of older clothing is encouraged so that children feel less inhibited about being creative and being involved in messy play.

  • HEALTH & SAFETY

Children with communicable diseases should not attend Playgroup until they are no longer contagious. Vigilance is the best policy. Any potential safety hazard should be pointed out immediately. Nappy changing facilities are located in the disabled toilets. Plastic bags are provided for the taking home of used nappies.

  • WHAT TO BRING

Children are asked to bring a piece of fruit. Sandwiches are provided for them. A gold coin donation towards consumable items is appreciated.

  • BEHAVIOUR

It is requested that, to the best of a parent's ability, children do not interfere with one another physically or with loud verbal exchanges. Whilst children need exposure to others to grow and mature, it is vital that situations that may cause harm to a child are not allowed to develop.

  • PARENTS/CARERS

Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times. This is a NON-SMOKING site. Please direct any grievance to the Angels@play co-ordinator. Every effort will be made to address the issue. Parents/carers are encouraged to join the morning tea roster and to assist in packing up.

  • WORKING WITH CHILDREN CARDS

All volunteers have Working with Children cards.
